Hello… We’re pleased to be back and able to offer viewings by appointment. Using the latest Government guidance on social distancing, we’d be really happy to see you.

Two becomes three with first baby born at Worsley Meadow

Soon after moving into their brand new Holmeswood style home on the Worsley Meadow development, Tara and Nick welcomed baby Theo into the world, at the recently completed Eccleston development in Worsley, Manchester.

Born at the beginning of August just after the couple had legally completed on their new build home baby Theo has settled in well at Cranleigh Drive, with his own beautiful animal-themed nursery, a landscaped garden for alfresco nap times, and a bespoke designer kitchen to check-in for mealtimes.

What’s more, precious family and friends are nearby for cuddles (and babysitting), either meeting at the open-plan living accommodation or at nearby cafes, restaurants and parkland, making Worsley Meadow the perfect location for the young family, including their much-loved dog, Rocky.

Moving from a Manchester city centre apartment, where they both work, the couple were originally viewing older properties in Manchester but on their first visit to Eccleston’s Worsley Meadow development, a deposit was put down for their dream family home.

“It was an easy decision to make. Once we’d seen the development, the sizes of rooms, the plot and the garden, the only sensible thing to do was to reserve the property which would become a home for us and our bump.

“My husband loved the detached garage to hone his DIY skills. I loved the kitchen and the fact we were able to choose our own flooring from carpet to tiles, the kitchen and lighting. It was a huge advantage being able to move into a brand-new home, designed and decorated to our taste without the headache and rush of doing it all ourselves in an older property before Theo arrived.”

Tara visited a Holmeswood property at Eccleston’s Burnage development, Kingsleigh Manor, as well as taking inspiration from our blog to design her own kitchen layout and furniture.

With their baby imminent, the couple were delighted to be able to use the government’s Help To Buy scheme, which made the property affordable and secure their future as a family.

“We’d used Help To Buy with our previous apartment and when we realised we could use it again to buy our family home, we had peace of mind for our financial future with a baby.”

Congratulations to Worsley Meadow’s first born, we wish the Matthews family much happiness in their Eccleston home.
